In the last century and this new century, we have a great disparity in terms of wealth. But more than that, we actually have polarizing viewpoints.
On one hand, we have the older generations, who mostly stick to the legacy financial services on the banking and wealth management systems that they are used to. Yes, trusting the same institutions that we trading Credit Default Swaps 2008 and build and trade other financial weapons of mass destruction.
These people widely reject putting money in things they don’t understand, such as the digital currency sector, with its like long wallet wallets, bizarre trading symbols, and rather wild market fluctuations, which have also been pointed out by the media in order to undermine the sector.
However, the elder generation should not forget the Great Financial Crisis of 2008 that crashed the world economy with the most toxic financial instruments of the planet, making Pension Funds, Hedge Funds, and all the big money managers lose trillions of dollars from retirement accounts, literally leaving a lot of middle-class people in the streets.
Here at Bancambios, we strive to be a formal alternative option for the elder generation to secure their future wealth with a name that they can trust.
On the other hand, we have the younger generations AKA the Millenials (Generation Y) and Zoomers (generation Z), who are relatively more tech-savvy and are more comfortable working with this new “kinetic money”, which is the future of finance.
These people need no convincing. Thanks to being born on the age of the internet (or after the internet flourished, in Gen Z’s case) they are already aware of the limitations and inefficiencies of the traditional financial landscape. In fact, some of them are not of legal age to actually own a bank account, yet have been doing transactions through digital currencies, which require no permission to access, thanks to blockchain technology.
